We’re looking for an organised, hard working and enthusiastic individual to assist the Friends of AviAssist in planning and delivering a fundraising dinner in 2017 and the 2018 edition of our ‘Friends of AviAssist safety conference’.

What skills and attributes do I need to have?

  • We are looking for someone who is organised, and will be able to work on different projects while managing their time efficiently.
  • It will really help if you are good under pressure, and are a strong practical thinker with creative ideas.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Social media experience or the willingness to teach yourself those skills
  • Previous experience of working on events would be ideal but is not essential

How much time do I need to commit?
Ideally we’d like someone who can support us for up to 1 day a week, however, this is flexible and we can discuss your preferences. There will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility in the week leading up to both event and we’d also really appreciate your support during the actual events.
